Nightblaze is a very mellow cat that loves to sunbathe. Though she is mellow, she is not easily beaten in a fight. You would think that you were looking at another cat if she was fighting. She has skill, speed, grace, and smarts to help her. She loves kits, mostly because she had kits when she was only ten moons old, but lost them, and she feels that she, as deputy, is to take care of all kits like a mother would. She also won't back down from a fight unless it is pointless.
Appearance
History
When Nightstar was known as Nightkit, her mother took her and ran away into the forest, becoming a loner for reasons that are still unknown. Her mother started calling her Night, and as she grew up, she learned the "loner way" of fending for her self. Her mother was killed by a pack of wild dogs when Nightblaze was about 6 moons. She tried to save her, but only gained a cut over her eye.
She found a Clan that took her in and healed her eye. She was apprenticed there and soon moved on to be a warrior. Several moons later, she had developed a relationship with the leader and soon found out she was to have kits. She ran away and lived in the forest until they were born. It was too cold that night, and all 4 kits died. Devastated, she found her way into SkyClan and they took her in. Her fighting abilities were soon discovered and she was appointed deputy after only a few moons.

Nightblaze sat on a warm rock under the shade of an old tree. Her black spots and stripes warmed her white fur evenly and her paws soaked up the warmth from the rock under her. She opened her amber eyes and stared out into the forest. She flicked her tail from side to side in thought as her ear's twitched.
The sound of her kits dying that night melded into her scream from when she was a kit, and tried to save her mother from those wild dogs. She couldn't do it and instead gained a scar over her eye. Most would say that the scar is a sign of bravery, but she saw it as a permanent sign that she failed to protect her mother.
"Why couldn't I save her? I was a kit, but I should have been able to," she had told herself over and over. It was her fault that her mother had died, and now her kits. Why was it that everything she touched died in her paws?
