&& a pair of eyes stared from a pile of pristine white snow. the orbs shone in the crisp morning sunlight, glinting while still maintaining an aurora of mystery. the phenomenon could've startled anyone, for reasons easisly explained. you see, most beings are born with eyes of the same hue. green, blue, whatever the color may be, it is usually consistent between both eyes. in this instance, however, this single feline possesed a pair of eyes so unusual that they are actually called 'odd'. the left eye was colored a pale, icey cold blue while, on the other hand, the right seemed to glow with the warmth of a flaming orange. they seemed so different, but yet, the same. their expression was set in a light, carefree position, as if the figure was about to have a snowball fight.

&& how pleasant the day was. the sun smiled down on the mountain, warming the cold breeze that usually blew through the peaks. snowpaw sat patiently behind a pile of ice. the pale landscape glittered, and the skyclan apprentice stood, facinated with the beauty. her pawsteps silent, she padded towards a small pond. a soft trickling brook fed the body of water, the sound echoing across the silent mountainside. she slowly dipped her head, a soft, pink nose hovering millimeters above the sparkling water. snowpaw closed her eyes and took in a big breath of the cool, crisp air. she let herself lower a bit more and touched her nose to the liquid. a single ripple raced across the surface, and a huff escaped from snowpaw's nose.

&& snowpaw suddenly pulled herself back from the water's edge. "ha! the next time eaglepaw says it's not possible i'm gonna shove a pile of snow in her mouth!" oops she thought. was that a little too loud? she cringed for the scolding that was bound to come from any warrior on patrol. 'you're gonna scare all the prey from here to the sun-drown place!'
